So Gore was urged off the stage and took direction well. Before long we had ourselves a genuine constitutional crisis because a president who doesn't concern himself with details like winning elections sure as hell isn't likely to feel much obligation to uphold the other rules that govern our nation.<BR/><BR/>So there went checks and balances, there went the Bill of Rights and in came phony war, genuine torture and a government of the cronies, by the cronies and for the cronies.<BR/><BR/>The Bush-Cheney regime is an oil slick on the slippery slope to fascism.<BR/><BR/>Nobody else gave that speech so hat's off to Gore.
