Well, it seems that we have survived the first two years, reasonably intact.
On one hand, I didn't know if I would keep this going this long. And on the other, it seems like yesterday and there's so much more to accomplish.
But rather than prattle on about one's self, I want to use this occasion to thank all of The Garlic's subscribers, readers, peekers, glancers and readers-on-the-fly, for taking to the time to visit and, when the moment has spurred you, to pass along praise or scorn, whichever befit the moment.
With such a bountiful of riches as The Garlic heads into Year Three, stay tuned. I will endeavor to continue to present the days' best offerings in the most entertaining manner I can muster.
Thank you again for reading and supporting The Garlic.

New Month - New and Improved The Garlic
We hope your doing well this fine day.
With this being the first day of a new month, we thought it would be a good time to point out some of the new features on The Garlic
As was announced earlier last month, The Garlic transitioned over to a new, Beta Blogger system, which offers some upfront improvements, as to the sleeker look and easier Search option. The bigger improvements come back office, with the ability to better and easier manage the template, posts, et al.
So, we were busy last month taking advantage of this new-found bliss and while keeping the usual Garlic offerings, such as The Garlic Poll, Reader Favorites, Recent Garlic Posts and Archive and a growing list of Links, we’ve added a boatload of more content that you can stroll through.
As we approach our 2nd Anniversary in the blogosphere, time to take a look at Garlic History - On This Day.
Further down the right-side sidebar, we’ve created sections for easier, one-click viewing of some of the more popular Garlic posts with;
Garlictorials
Politics & Government ... On The Garlic
Sports ... On The Garlic
Media & Entertainment ... On The Garlic
Business ... On The Garlic
Songs ... On The Garlic
Also, if you want to leave the world of satire and see what’s happening out there in the real world, we now offer a Huffington Post News Box and MediaMatters News Box.
Once again, thank you very much for spending time and reading The Garlic: All The Cloves Fit To Peel.
Peace

You can now (being we’ve been at this going on two-years) look at “On This Day” and see what The Garlic was riffing and poking at ... Scroll down further and you can read more content and retro-posts on;

The Garlic Blog Update - New and Improved With Beta Blogger
Good Evening Garlic Readers
Our apologies if you came looking today for our Weekly Special - Sautéed Cloves, as well as the new Weekly Garlic Poll.
We’ve been down most of the weekend, updating The Garlic, taking advantage of the Beta Blogger.
With “Beta” being the operative word, that meant, after the switchover, time was consumed with tweaks and rebuilding, rewriting and replacing code and cleaning up files so that all the favorites would be back in place.
You should find your visits to The Garlic as you always have (and the correct answer here is ... enjoyable, right?) and a bit sleeker, with better Search, and easier viewing of the Recent Garlic Posts and Archives.
Posting will resume tomorrow (Monday, 9 October 2006) and we look forward to your visits and comments.
Thank you, once again, for visiting The Garlic: All The Cloves Fit To Peel.
Peace
JTD
