Summertime!

Happy First Day of Summer!

However, if you are in the Northeast, not much joy to spread around, stuck in this dreary, wet, cool weather pattern, for yet another day (or two, or three) ... It's almost becoming an episode of 'The Twilight Zone', where we see the sun no more ...

But we digress ...

Today is the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice, and the astronomical beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere

We posted this song to ring in the new season last year, and, since it is one, major, kick-ass rendition, we're puttin' it up again!

Happy Summertime!

Break out the suntan lotion!

It's here - Summer - officially, today!

Between the price of gas, and a significant chunk of the country being flooded, I can appreciate if there is a lack of celebratory spirit to welcome in the new season.

So, we'll pitch to, hopefully, jump start you.

We hope, after you listen to this, you will agree that it is the hippest, coolest, most out-of-sight rendition of this classic gem.

We give you Angelique Kidjo.
