We got a "Covergirl" email today, from the Flying Monkey perch at Human Events, heart-clutching, and breathlessly throwing rose pedals on the Queen of the Flying Monkeys, Michelle "Stalkin'" Malkin, for being "covergirl" of this month's other Flying Monkey perch, Townhall;
Michelle Malkin has been making a killing doing what she does best: exposing the corruption and lunacy of America's liberals. And the Left can't stop her.
Not to mention the bestseller book, of her endorsemnt of Internment
Most people know her as a conservative firebrand who has written best-selling books, including "Culture of Corruption," which dealt with the shady characters that have populated the Obama administration, and "Unhinged," which exposed the lunacy of the Left.
In which reviewer Eric Muller noted in his "There was no good reason for the mass internment of Japanese Americans during WWII.";That passage alone should tell the reader this book is not a trustworthy work of history but a polemic--The O'Reilly Factor masquerading as the History Channel.
[snip]
But Malkin does not so much as mention any of that evidence, except to say that a reader can find it elsewhere in "pedantic tomes" and "educational propaganda." She dismisses what she cannot rebut.
These objections to Malkin's handling of the evidence are the concerns of scholars and historians, and some may think them unfair measures for the work of a political columnist. "I am neither a historian nor a lawyer," Malkin reminds her reader in the book's prefatory note. But even political columnists are bound by ordinary rules of inference and logic, and it is on this score that her book fails even more spectacularly.
And others; The book proved to be highly controversial when published, with Asian-American groups in particular being highly critical. John Tateishi, the Executive Director of the Japanese American Citizens League issued a media release on August 24, 2004 stating "Michelle Malkin's book In Defense of Internment: The Case for Racial Profiling in World War II and the War on Terror is a desperate attempt to impugn the loyalty of Japanese Americans during World War II to justify harsher governmental policies today in the treatment of Arab and Muslim Americans."
We'll make her The Garlic's "Cover Flying Monkey of the Day", with some of our highlights;
The organization Historians' Committee for Fairness condemned the book as "a blatant violation of professional standards of objectivity and fairness".[6]

"We lock and load our ideological ammunition."
Don't be so gloomy...After all, it's not that awful. Remember what the fellow said... In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, bloodshed, but they produced Michaelangelo - Leonardo Da Vinci, and the Renaissance...In Switzerland, they had brotherly love. They had five hundred years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce?...The cuckoo clock ... So long, Holly.
Harry Lime, to Holly Martin, in the Ferris Wheel scene, from from 'The Third Man'
It would be a nice thought to think of the Right Wing Freak Show churning and churning on their little wheels for the next four-years, watching the country sail by them, as they simmer-and-stew over allowing Stumblin' Bumblin' John McKKKain blow it for them.
For this morning, poking around the great World Wide Web, we stopped by the Queen Freaker, Michelle "Stalkin" Malkin, to check in on the losers.
It seems all the little Flying Monkeys are lost, crestfallen, wandering around aimlessly.
So, Ms. Pro-Internment offered no pats on the head, but rather some bare-your-fangs, tough love; There is no time to lick wounds, point fingers, and wallow in post-election mud.
What should they do Michelle? How do they survive the next four years, the Presidency of Barack Hussein Obama?
I’m getting a lot of moan-y, sad-face “What do we do now, Michelle?” e-mails.We stay positive and focused.
Yeah, that's it ...
We keep the faith.
We do not apologize for our beliefs. We do not re-brand them, re-form them, or relinquish them. We defend them.
We pay respect to the office of the presidency. We count our blessings and recommit ourselves to our constitutional republic.
We gird our loins, to borrow a phrase from our Vice President-elect.
We lock and load our ideological ammunition.
We fight.
Keep firing that "ideological ammunition", the same stuff that you, the rest of the Right Wing Freak Show, led by the Bush Grindhouse and Faux News, have been firing, you know, the stuff that has left our country bankrupt, had us invade and occupy another nation, and, oh yeah, allow a major United States city to drown.
But she doesn't just let the little Flying Monkey off with a stern lecture.
Nosireebob!
They have tasks, homework, action items.First assignment for fiscal conservatives in Washington:
1) Oppose the Democrats’ next stimulus boondoggle.
2) Oppose Obama’s windfall profits tax proposal.
3) Oppose new bailouts for states deep in debt.
4) Oppose new foreclosure prevention measures that will simply provide perverse incentives for borrowers to walk away and delay a needed market correction.
5) No more federal loan guarantees for corporations
Again, that "ideological ammunition", just bog everything down, jam the gears, bring Congress to a standstill as the Republican have done so well, so that nothing gets accomplished.
The Flying Monkeys were attentive, offering the Queen Freaker some of their own suggestions, via the Comment section
Like this one, who, rather than engage in the rebuilding of our country, apparently, wants to raise stupid children; If this does anything, it really will weed out neo-conservatives from true conservatives.
And this one, who has already planned, and mapped out, Obama's Impeachment;
But I’ve got to tell you…we don’t stand a chance to carry the movement forward if we do not educate our children, friends, neighbors (and others we come in contact with) on these principles that work. Moms and Dads…don’t wait for the schools to provide the education to them…it ain’t gonna happen. There is no more truth taught in the pediatric penitentiaries and houses of brainwashing.Obama will not be impeached before 2011, when the GOP could conceivably recapture the House, and could not be convicted in the Senate if impeached before 2013, when the GOP might recapture the Senate. And if the GOP captures the Senate in 2012, Obama probably own’t be sworn in for a second term in 2013.
Then there's this fellow, seemingly, wanting to go Vichy and give up names, start filling Queen Freakers Internment Camps; Also, I don’t know how many of you were watching Fox News coverage of McCain’s speech, but afterward, the journalist assigned to his campaign commented that there were some (maybe many) in the McCain camp that felt that all along McCain thought that, because Obama was black, Obama should win. Essentially, MY FREINDS, we had a rat among us and it the head of our ticket. That would help to explain why he would not attack Obama on ANYTHING. Did you hear that Fox offered McCain the same 30 minute time slot during Obama’s Infomercial FOR FREE and he turned it down!!! If if ever appeared to any of you that McCain didn’t seem to even WANT to win this, you may have been right. We had one party running, not two. McCain’s biggest REACH ACROSS THE EISLE AND THEY’LL LOVE ME.
Let's add something that will really piss them off (or, at least, it will rile up Stalkin' Malkin).
For Inauguration Day, First Lady Michelle Obama should wear a special, Democratic Blue keffiyeh

M-Stalkin'-M Update ... She's A Terrorist Sympathizer!
We had the good opportunity yesterday, to bring to your attention Michelle "Stalkin' Malkin's latest fiasco, going after Rachel Ray and Dunkin Donuts over the Right Wing Freak Show-hyped "jihadi chic keffiyeh" (see our "She's Stalking Donuts Now!" for all the dirt)
From Steve Benen, on The Carpetbagger Report;UPDATE: (Nicole) Uh oh. Malkin may need to start a boycott of herself. This Woman Is Insane has found a picture of Michelle in possession of the dreaded “jihadi” chic. Can we get her readers to flood her inbox with messages accusing her of sympathizing with the terrorists?

Here's Brad's post - This Woman Is Insane - over on his Sadly No!

She's Stalking Donuts Now!
The fall seems to be worse that previously thought.
We offered a Top Ten Clove List on some of the things we thought Michelle "Stalkin'" Malkin would do, after being fired from The O'Reilly Factor and, darn it, we didn't have in there that she would hassle, spewing her bile in the direction of Dunkin Donuts, and their advertising star, Rachel Ray.
Actually, M-Stalkin'-M was only picking up something Charles Johnson, of Un Poco Cojones Verde sent flying out into the alternate, Your-With-Us-Or-Against-Us, universe.
Dunkin' Donuts yanks Rachael Ray adSome observers, including ultra-conservative Fox News commentator Michelle Malkin, were so incensed by the ad that there was even talk of a Dunkin’ Donuts boycott.
I guess I missed that DHS memo, the one indicating to be wary of terrorists popping out of Boston Crème donuts.
‘‘The keffiyeh, for the clueless, is the traditional scarf of Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad,’’ Malkin yowls in her syndicated column.
‘‘Popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos, the apparel has been mainstreamed by both ignorant and not-so-ignorant fashion designers, celebrities, and left-wing icons.’’
The company at first pooh-poohed the complaints, claiming the black-and-white wrap was not a keffiyeh. But the right-wing drumbeat on the blogosphere continued and by yesterday, Dunkin’ Donuts decided it’d be easier just to yank the ad.
I also have to wonder, did M-Stalkin'- M set out and stalk any 12-year-olds on this one, to see if they were wearing one of the jihadi chic keffiyehs, while eating a Dunkin Donut?
I think the boycott thing would have been great.
It would have pitted these dwarf, finks, phonies and frauds against the Bush Family, along with their pals, the Bin Ladins, being that The Carlyle Group is the owner of DD.
Renaissance, over on DKOS, pointed up some of the more famous owners;More famous Carlyle members and alums, of course, include George H.W. Bush, Reagan defense secretary Frank Carlucci, James Baker III, some of the Binladins, Colin Powell, former British P.M. John Major, and several other ex-heads-of-state (e.g. Anand Panyarachun of Thailand, Fidel Ramos of the Phillipines, and Park Tae Joon of South Korea).
Since she's so good a whipping up things, perhaps Rachel Ray will come up with a zinger.
Something like, on her "30-Minute-Meals" program, wearing her verbotten jihadi chic keffiyeh, cook up a nice spread of Middle Eastern Food, and add a little twist on it, like celebrity helpers, say, Republican John Sununu and General John Abizaid, Army, Commander U.S. Central Command.
That oughta throw them in a tizzy.
One last thing there, M-Stalkin' M ....
Next time you go to the local Fractured Prune, may all the sprinkles fall off your favorite treat!

The Anatomy of Idiots
Too bad, if this ever gets made into a movie, Otto Preminger and Duke Ellington aren't around to direct and score it.
Catching up from the week, there was a minor fru-fru with the Right Wing Freak Show, over the case of Pulitzer Prize-winning Associated Press photographer Bilal Hussein.
Hussein was the recipient of the Bush Grindhouse brand of justice, held for allegedly aiding terrorists (or, a terrorist himself, if you
are in the RWFS, or an official RWFS Flying Monkey).
From Wikipedia; On September 17, 2006, it was reported that Hussein has been imprisoned by the United States military since April 2006 without publicly known charges or hearing because of "imperative reasons of security" under United Nations resolutions.[1] Hussein was taken into U.S. custody on April 12, 2006 from the Iraqi city of Ramadi and has since been held without charge.[1][2] On November 20, 2007, the US military announced that they would soon be bringing criminal charges against Hussein, and would be turning the case over to Iraqi judges. [3] On April 9, 2008 an Iraqi judicial panel ordered his release, ruling (according to the AP) that he was covered by an Iraqi amnesty law.[4] On April 14, 2008 the US military announced it would release Hussein from custody by April 16, 2008, saying only that "he no longer presents an imperative threat to security".[5] [6]
That's the proverbial "Reader's Digest" version of it.
To get a more detailed account, a most delicious take-down of the RWFS, run, don't walk over to Media Matters and ...
Eric Boehlert's "Michelle Malkin and the warbloggers get everything wrong -- again"
Here's a tease of it;"What's so amazing -- and truly frightening -- about the Bilal Hussein story is that the U.S. government may have actually turned to warbloggers for information. At least one source even allegedly credited the laughable Jawa Report blog for helping put Bilal Hussein behind bars for two years while the U.S. military in Iraq pondered his fate. That warbloggers are right less often than a stopped clock is one thing. That CENTCOM officials have apparently deputized the clueless Inspector Clouseaus in the War on Terror represents a national embarrassment."
And a "Batman" style POW!;They all dutifully typed up the military's dark claims about Hussein and pounded their chests about how warbloggers had uncovered a terrorist inside the AP. But when the Army decided Hussein no longer posed a threat, the warbloggers all played dumb. (Trust me, it's an art form for them at this point.)
Need more?
That's bad enough. And if warbloggers had simply ignored the Hussein news last week, that would have been one thing. Instead, those who did acknowledge the development tried to insist they were still right about Hussein's terrorist ties and that he'd simply been released on a technicality.
Here's an endorsement from Pale Rider, over on Blue Girl, Red State;Eric Bohlert then goes on to give one of the most detailed examinations of the "reality-challenged" crowd--complete with excellent links a-plenty and enough smart commentary and observation to go around. I love pieces like this--you can lose yourself in them for an hour, see documented and detailed lies, distortions and misadventures, and it just reinforces why we do what we do here.
And for a little historical context (actually, Bohlert links to this in the piece) from Glenn Greenwald's "The "credibility" of the right-wing blogosphere";These right-wing bloggers operate at a level several beneath the National Enquirer, literally. They simply fabricate facts and recklessly and maliciously launch serious accusations against the media whenever doing so advances their political agenda.
Read "Michelle Malkin and the warbloggers get everything wrong -- again".
It will be a good primer, kind of like stretching out and limbering up, before the Fall Election.

There'll Be A Lot Of Dummies Bidding On This One
When will the unbridled outrage hit?
Will we see a mountain of decks of playing cards being run over by a bulldozer?
Does Clear Channel wave the flag and ban broadcasting any bridge tournaments?
The feathers are flying in the big-time world of Competitive Bridge, as reported today by the NYT;
Display of Anti-Bush Sign Has Competitive Bridge World in an Uproar"In the genteel world of bridge, disputes are usually handled quietly and rarely involve issues of national policy. But in a fight reminiscent of the brouhaha over an anti-Bush statement by Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks in 2003, a team of women who represented the United States at the world bridge championships in Shanghai last month is facing sanctions, including a yearlong ban from competition, for a spur-of-the-moment protest."
Can't you just see the Faux News gang jumping on this one?
Bill O'Reilly doing his typical, blowhard, fact-less talking points (and, what are the odds that he'll bring some level of creepy sex into it), rallying his pinheads to boycott sponsors, etc.
And that the French team sent a supporting email to the woman ... Man, O'Reilly will have months-and-months of forced outrage to work through on this one.
Sean Hannity, likely already beet-red-in-the-face ... So much so, he must be making plans to launch his own "Free Bid To Save America" concert tour, perhaps pairing up Lee Greenwood and Oliver North to "kick some bridge pansies asses".
Michelle "Stalkin" Malkin will call for these woman to be placed in internment camps, or, perhaps she'll do her stalkin' thing and then print their names, home addresses and telephone numbers on her blog, so the Freakshow nutjobs can harass them (and, heaven help these bridge woman if they have ever taken advantage of a government health program for children).
Strap yourselves in for an onslaught of jingoistic, patriotic morals lessons, and a parade of "bridge experts" on the cable news frontier, pontificating on how this is degrading and ruining the game of Bridge - and the country.
Can't you just see the intrepid Anderson Cooper doing a hushed, pained stand-up in front of a Bridge Tournament?
Or Tucker Carlson, back wearing the bow tie, so it can spin like a propeller in disbelief, conjuring up the anger, and drawing the clear and unmistakable line that this is all Hillary Clinton's fault (Hmm ... Grab the tinfoil hats ... Did the Clinton Campaign ask these Bridge Radicals to hold up the Anti-Bush sign?).
There'll be the stern pronouncements on how all this stains America, how it is such a bad example for our children and, yes, even professional Bridge players should be, without question, supporting the troops.
And how, clearly, these professional Bridge players are not supporting the troops.
It's the November Sweeps, and there's a writer's strike, so expect to see this one pumped up, loud and long, and, who knows, maybe a reality-based television program around Competitive Bridge will pop up (which would, likely, involve some stupid/dangerous/idiotic stunts while playing a game of Bridge, that could, or could not, include running a marathon, dancing, or having to perform work tasks, which they may, or may not be fired from).
Hmmm ... You can almost see the dreams of Emmy and Peabody awards forming over their heads.
And all of this with a single, exclusive, sponsor - The 43rd President of the United States.
Fade out to 'God Bless America'.
Roll Que Sera Sera with final credits.

Mirror, Mirror ... She's Still The Sickest! ... But The Bush Grindhouse Is Gaining Ground ... Follow-Up On The Graeme Frost Conflagration
The battle of bullshit continues ...
And it gets sicker ...
The stalker-harasser, self-anointed healthcare insurance inspector, M-Squared continues to bang her obnoxious drum on the 12-year-old Graeme Frost, and his family, proudly flapping her excrement-spewing lips on her response to a NYT reporter, still screaming at this horrible injustice, symbolizing the decline of the country due to the entitlement-hording Frost Family, and, ready for this, yelping that she, and the rest of the Rightwing Freakshow, are being victimized by the well-deserved blowback of these cretins attacking a child.
But her coveted "Sickest Person in the Worrrrrrrld!" title is being seriously challenged by, none other, than the Bush Grindhouse.
As the flames of this hate-filled vitriol lick at the Frost Family, the Compassionate Conservative, The Decider Guy, has, once again, demonstrated his uncanny skills of failed leadership.
Rather than sitting back (perhaps laying out the spin on the Osama bin Laden videotape leak), apparently relishing the work of the Rightwing Freakshow (and M-Squared) in battering this family (Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell stated he was "relieved" his office didn't denounce the family - Way to step up there Mitch, really putting yourself on the line) it was a moment that called for a real president, a real leader, to step to the podium and repute the red hot, partisan bullshit, lay down the law (for a change, instead of subverting it) to lay off the family, further pointing out the sickness of attacking children for solely political purpose.
But not a word was issued.
Sigh ... The folly of my thinking ... To expect this, from a President who allowed his staff to leak the identity of a covert CIA agent - for mere political purpose ... Why would I possible think he would step up to stop the bashing of a young child?
M-Squared doesn't show signs that she will relinquish her crown, so, for The Commander Guy, he'll have to settle for "Sickest President in the Worrrrrrrld!"

Mirror, Mirror .. If Only Keith Olbermann Offered A "Sickest Person In The World", Sighs Michelle Maudlin, "I Would Surely Be The Sickest"
Do you like children?
Boy, what I would pay to have W.C. Fields weigh in on this one.
Only if they are properly cooked ...
The Rightwing Freakshow, led by the sludge-dwelling Michelle Maudlin, who, if Keith Olbermann offered a "Sickest Person In The World" rather then just the worst, M-Squared would win it in a landslide, are, mercilessly, attacking a 12-year-old child.
There is a full-fledged conflagration raging on in the blogosphere, over Graeme Frost, the above-referenced child, injured in an automobile accident and medically served by the very same SCHIP program (State Children's Health Insurance Program) The Decider Guy vetoed last week.
Young Master Frost was chosen by the Democrats to offer the rebuttal to The Decider Guy's radio address, in which in announced his veto, of the bill which had bipartisan support.
Officials are now viewing security camera footage around the radio station Frost gave his speech at, to see exactly where the big red bullseye was painted on the youngster.
Healthy debated over policy, and even budget, regarding health care, fine.
Attacking and smearing the boy, his family and even, as M-Squared did, going to his house, and the business of his parents to snoop and pry ... And not doing this out of concern for the boy or his family, but merely to discredit them ...
That is just plain, outright, sick ...
And it's not the first time M-Squared , an Asian-American who wrote a book defending and endorsing the Internment policy during World War II, has acted so recklessly and immorally.
So, Michelle Maudlin, confident of Mr. Olbermann's endorsement, I borrow from his program to announce "Michelle Maudlin ... The Sickest Person in the Worrrrrrrld!"
